It’s interesting because when I was younger, like I would do makeup pretty much, I mean I wouldn’t do it every single time I left the house, but I would do it really often, you know, most time when I leave the house.

面白いことに、私が今より若かった時は、化粧はほぼ（毎回）、ていうか、家を出る時は毎回では無いけれど、頻繁にしていたわ、外出する時はほとんど。

When I waited tables also, or, sometimes I would be able to wake up in the morning and still have some nice makeups from the night before…

ウェイトレスとして働いていた頃とか時々、朝起きると前日からの化粧がうまく残っていることがあってさ、

Just, just you know, get the stuff off underneath of your eyes and you are like, “that’s not too bad, I can handle that”.

ちょうどさ、分かる？、目の下をちょっと拭いて、「悪くは無いわね、これでイケる」なんてね。

But when I finally like, it’s like, “I don’t need to spend any time doing this”, it was, it was weird at first, because you are kind of like, you get little self-conscious because you are, yeah, you feel naked, you know, you feel naked. But after a while, it’s just, you don’t care anymore.

でも最終的に「こんなことに時間を割く必要なんか無い」思うようになった時は、最初は変な気がした、なんか少し自意識過剰になって、なんか裸でいるようで、わかる？、裸になったみたいでさ。でもしばらくするともう気にならなかった。
