[米大統領選挙] 「フリンジ」がメインストリームになる恐怖

Fringe theories are the theories that are not widely accepted by the mainstream scientific world. The term is also used to mean far-fetched conspiracy theories that don’t provide logical evidences.

「フリンジ・セオリー」とは学会の主流の科学者には正式な理論とは認められていない学説を指す。この言葉は、理論的な根拠を持たない、信じがたい陰謀説にも当てはめられる。

But now, the fringe conspiracy theories are becoming the mainstream.

今や、そんな「端っこ」の陰謀説が主流の意見になってきている。

QAnon がアメリカ議会にやって来た

QAnon is a name for a group of people who believe a conspiracy theory that claims Trump has been fighting against Satan worshiping child sex trafficking democrats that secretly frighteningly controls America. It is decidedly a fringe theory.

キューアノンとは、 ある陰謀説を信じる人のグールプの名前だ。その陰謀説は、悪魔崇拝を行い、

性犯罪、幼児誘拐を組織する民主党員が影でアメリカを操ると信じ、トランプはその悪の力に立ち向かっていると言うものだ。まさにフリンジ・セオリーと呼ぶのにふさわしい。

But now QAnon believers are becoming mainstream, even though QAnon related extremists are considered as a domestic terrorist threat.

しかし、今ではキューアノンを信じる人たちが主流になりつつある。キューアノンに関係した過激組織に国内テロの懸念があるのにだ。

In Georgia, people elected a woman who associates herself with QAnon.

ジョージア州では、キューアノンに関係がある女性議員が連邦議会に当選した。

不正な「不正選挙」クレーム

Trump has been claiming that the election was fraudulent with no proof.

トランプは証拠もなしに選挙が不正であったと公言している。

He has been insinuating that I rig the election for a long time, even before the election.

実際の選挙が始まるかなり前から 選挙は工作されていることに言及している。

Trump being crazy for his own ego is not surprising. We know how he disregards truths for his own gain.

自分のエゴに固執してキチガイのようにふるまうトランプには驚きもしない。自分の利益のためには真実は関係ないトランプのやり方は分かっている。

Many Trump supporters believe it simply because Trump says so. Trump knows he can shoot someone and get away with it.

トランプの支持者の多くはそんなことを、トランプがそうだと言う理由だけ信じる。トランプは誰かを拳銃で撃ったとしても支持者を失わない事を知っている。

公式な人々の暴挙

The most shocking is that many elected officials don’t respect the result of the election, despite the fact that the election was proven to be conducted fairly.

もっとも衝撃的なのは、公式に選ばれた政治家の多くが選挙の結果を受け止めない事だ。選挙が政党に行われた事が事実なのにだ。

I find it very dangerous when elected officials are going along with the lunacy that threats democracy for their own gains.

選挙で選ばれた政治家が自分の利益のために民主主義を脅かす狂気を支持するのはとても危険な事だと思うのだ。
